Introducing A Direct Trade Coffee from the Kayanza Region of Northern Burundi, Africa. This exceptional coffee was selected from the northern mountain region bordering Rwanda, benefitting from ideal growing conditions. Burundi coffee has an excellent reputation, superb balance in a cup that combines chocolaty sweetness, bright fruit, and a dry hint of aromatic wood.
The Coffee is fully washed and sun dried on raised beds. In Burundi, they do not have farmers as they are known in other countries, each farmer is tendering only approximately 250 arabica trees. The coffee is cultivated at an altitude between 5500 and 5800 feet.
